is it february allready???

Life seems to be flying by lately. Which can be a good thing. I usually hate the month of January and by mid February i'm ready to go crazy. But this winter hasn't been all that bad....so far. We really have not had anything to eventful happen lately. We seem to keep plenty busy with the day to day things though. Sean's new job is going well. It's been a big change and he actually gets bored. The beginning and end of the months are busy but there is quite a bit of down time in between. Really we can't complain we feel really blessed he was able to find something in his field and get the experience he will need to move up in the future. He is still working weekends at the Airport. He really wants to go back to his mission in New Zealand for our anniversary this summer and flying for free would save us about 7 grand. I'm still not to hip on the idea. I would prefer to go somewhere closer so I could get home quick in case a child were to break an arm or something while being baby sat by Family.

The boys are still obsessed with the Mario Brothers. I though the newness for the Wii would have worn off by now. They keep playing world one, level one over and over and wonder why they never get to save Princess Peach. They dialog between the two of them is hilarious while they play. My favorite quote is " watch out for that mushroom....it will die you." Maybe by May they will be sick of it. (fingers crossed)

Halle is a busy little stinker. I thought it was just a boy thing but apparently it's just a Bourne thing. She is still very happy and sweet she just loves the freedom of running around with the boys and being able to get down the toys she wants all by herself. She loves to dance and spin in circles, and put on lotion and pretend to do her makeup.

We are house hunting which has been such a different experience from when we bought our last home. There's so much more to think about this time around. A hugh majority of homes on the market are short sales which can take 3-12 months before you hear anything back or bank owned which means they are priced low because they want a bidding war so they can get more money. Some but not all other homes for sale are priced to high because the sellers owe more then they are worth. All these factors are making it extremely difficult to find a home. Then factor in finding a floor plan you like, in a neighborhood you love, where the schools are good and stay under your budget and the pickins are slim. We know we will find the right home for our Family it's just were anxious to move forward but were TRYING to be patient. And that about sums thing up for us right now.

We are house hunting too! Where are you looking? We are kind of open to location right now, like anywhere from Woods Cross down to West Jordan. It's so hard to decide where!!

Yay that you are finally house hunting!! We have kind of been looking too and finding a decent floor plan is much harder than you would think huh? I think New Zealand would be so much fun for your anniversary.. I am sure your mom would take great care of your kids.. but it about killed me to be away from Kendyl so I totally understand your feelings! We totally need to catch up some time.
