Christmas and 2011 so far

We had our Bourne family Santa Party a couple weeks before Christmas. This is the same Santa that came when Sean was a little boy. Halle was not happy about sitting on his lap!! She covered both eyes tightly with her fist and sobbed. Brighton was excited but alot less then last year. I think he saw 4 Santa's this season so the newness had worn off.
Landon was SO excited!! We could not get him to sit down and stop talking to Santa.

Santa is telling him he needs to be this tall before he will bring him an IPAD! Thanks santa you saved me $600 this Christmas.
Opening gifts with the Hansen's Christmas Eve
Meg and Dan brought all the kids a gift from there trip to Hawaii.

Christmas morning
9:15 and all three kids were still asleep. We had to wake the boys up and then when we asked them what day it was they said they didn't know.

It was a Ballerina Christmas for Halle. I may be pushing a certain style of Dance on her.

I loved to watch my kids open there presents and think about a family we were able to help out with a Sub for Santa. I know that there are many, many children who wake up on Christmas and have no gifts to open and it brakes my heart. Im glad we were able to help others and it has become my favorite Holiday tradition with my kids.

We got a Wii. I told Sean I didn't really think we should get one yet but we have now entered the video game stage of life....im not really thrilled about it.

We got the boys Bikes and this was a great year to get them because it was warm enough to go out and ride them 2010 was a interesting year for us and I was secertly happy to see it go. We spent last new years day in the Hospital with Brighton so this year could be pretty easily topped:). 2011 is off to a good start. Sean started his new job and I think he will really like it...it's alot of change and he will need a couple months to adjust. I am loving having him home in the evenings to eat dinner with us and help put the kids to bed. Brighton was really excited to go back to Pre-school and is enjoying it very much this year. Landon is in Primary! He(and me) could not be happier. He hated Nursary and was glad to leave all those "babies" behind. Halle is getting lots of personality lately. She is a little thrill seeker and loves to climb and jump on things. I thought is was just a boy thing. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I love the opportunity to serve others this time of year and to reflect on the Birth and Life of our Savior Jesus Christ.
