Summer Daze

I have had a really hard time getting Brighton to go to Cherry Hill ever sense he got stung by a bee. So I invited our cute neighbor girl and babysitter who the boys love to go with us. I started cutting her hair when she was Brightons age and have gone to watch her and her sister preform in the Nutcracker for the last 5 years. She is darling.

My parents got this new swimming pool and all the grand kids have been having so much fun swimming together. This is the first year Brighton has realized how dangerous the water can be so he's taking every precaution, life vest, swimming wings, and some sort of flotation device.

My nephews having a chicken with Megan and a boy(name withheld).

My sister Jen and her husband Joe were here last week from Las Vegas. They gave all the nieces and nephews a bag with fun stuff in it. They are so thoughtful and love the kids so much.
We love when they are able to come visit.

We went to the Dinosaur Museum @ Thanksgiving Point with my siblings and there kids. The kids all had so much fun together. We have a really good reason to go there often now because my oldest sister and her family just moved in to there beautiful new home down there.

The Hansen Grand kids minus Landon. My mom kept him so he could still take his nap. I think he is still just alittle to small to appreciate fossils.

milk it does a body good.brite vs. the bee.belated 4th of july pictures.

Yes people this is what it has come to, three post in one. I have been alittle busy with everything I need to buy/sew for the new baby and don't have much free time right now. Landon had his 18 month check-up, a month ago as he is now 19 months old - I am a slacker.

Weight: 23 lbs.(up 1 1/2lbs. from his last appt.)
This was the first time he has not been at the bottom of the charts which was good news. The Dr. asked me if I have been force feeding him lately. I haven't - he has just decided he really likes MILK.
Height: 33 inches! At this rate he should he 6'4" when he's done growing.

Brighton got his first Bee Sting. I happened at Cherry Hill and he has been alittle leery of Pirates Cove ever sense. He was very brave and even convinced the life guard to kiss it better, which was probably really embarrassing for a 16 year old boy.

We attempted Mini-Golf. Brighton has been dying for Sean to take him. About 3 holes into it they lost all interest and just ran all over the coarse.

We had a great fourth of July. Parade, BBQ, Light Ropes, Salt Water Taffy, the usual.

Brighton loved to "shake his Booty" to all the music.

Landon, is alittle nervous around crowds and made me hold him for the entire Parade.

All in all it was a great day with the family. The best part was that it was overcast which is always good news for us pasty skinned people.
