Phone conversations with Daddy

So our little Brighty has decided to start answering to telephone. This morning I went into the bathroom to start running the bath water while Brighton was finishing his cereal. I could hear him yelling at me. Sense you can only understand about 20 words the kid says I just ignored him. About an hour later Sean called and said "where were you earlier?" I said "no where." He said "I called an hour ago and guess who answered the phone?" I said"he did." Sean said "yeah he said HI DADDY then he just kept jabbering to me about Thomas then I told him to go get Mommy, and he started yelling MARCIE, MARCIE into the phone, then he just hung up." Maybe next time my little boy is yelling at me from the kitchen, I should go out and see what the little stinker needs.

Little Buddies

Okay I'm just going to warn you this is one of those sentimental post that most of you will want to just skip over, but I have to document it for my own journaling purposes.

Ever sense the boys were sick, Landon's afternoon nap schedule has changed so they takes there nap about the same time. Today I put Brighton on the bed, started the music, and was holding Landon who I had just rocked to sleep. Brighton sat up and said "No Marcie, baby Lanny right here", and patted the pillow next to him. I thought what the heck, he'll be awake soon anyway, so I laid him next to Brighty, surrounded him with pillows, and left the room. Sure enough half an hour later I heard Landon in there jabbering. I think Brightons loud snoring probably woke him. It's so fun to see there little faces light up when they see or hear each other. Brighton is so proud of his baby brother, he always tells the random Walmart worker who happens to check us out that day, about baby Lanny. And when Landon wakes up he looks around for Brighton as soon as I pick him up out of bed. I never imagined they were going to love each other so much. I wanted to document this because I know in a few years it might not be this way. I can always pull out this story and read it to them when they are 6 and 8 years old and are beating the crap out of each other in the back yard. I am so thankful to be a mother and I love these LITTLE BUDDIES more then they will ever know, I just hope they can stay close to each other, and love each other as much as I love them.

To swim, or not to swim...that is the question

I'm looking for feed back on this one please. I have not yet purchased my Cherry Hill Season Pass and they open next weekend. I talked to my cousin whose Dad is one of the Lloyds ,the owners of Cherry Hill, and she said they have installed these UV Lights in all there pools and they should be safe from last years nasty virus.(three weeks of neon green poop and fevers-if you were wondering). Also all kids 2 and under are required to wear a regular diaper and a swim diaper over the top of it. We had so much fun there last summer until Brighton got that virus then we couldn't go anymore. I'm wondering if it's worth it, and if anyone else is getting a past this year or not? Please give me your feed back!

One Sick Trip

That's right we had spring fever so bad last week we decided to jump on a airplane and head to St. George for some fun in the sun. The kids did great on the plane(they both slept) we picked up the Rental Car and headed to the Hotel. We went out for some lunch then decided to take a swim in the pool and play at the park before we went to get dinner. About half way through dinner Brighton starts acting funny, he even refuses to eat his Ice cream. We get back to the Hotel at like 7:00 and he wants to go to sleep. LONG STORY SHORT, we spent the entire night awake in a hotel room - all of us! We had planed on staying a couple days and doing some fun things as a Family, and meeting up with my sister and her husband who live in Vegas , but do to the lack of sleep we decided to get the HECK OUT OF DODGE. (thanks for switching our flight for us Tami) We had a few hours before our plane home so we tried to do a few things but Brighton was just to sick. Here are some pictures from our very quick trip. When we got home we saw the Doctor and in turned out both Boys had ear infections which led to three more sleepless nights!

Babies and Bubbles

We had never ran the jets on the tube with Landon in it before. Apparently he likes them because he fell asleep in the tube!
