Phone conversations with Daddy

So our little Brighty has decided to start answering to telephone. This morning I went into the bathroom to start running the bath water while Brighton was finishing his cereal. I could hear him yelling at me. Sense you can only understand about 20 words the kid says I just ignored him. About an hour later Sean called and said "where were you earlier?" I said "no where." He said "I called an hour ago and guess who answered the phone?" I said"he did." Sean said "yeah he said HI DADDY then he just kept jabbering to me about Thomas then I told him to go get Mommy, and he started yelling MARCIE, MARCIE into the phone, then he just hung up." Maybe next time my little boy is yelling at me from the kitchen, I should go out and see what the little stinker needs.

What beautiful boys, looks and personality too. I love to see what comes out of their mouths...I think it is hilarious he called for Marcie. You look like you are agreat mom. Having such a good time raising those boys!

tis that time of life where your toddler answers the phone. just set the ground rules early...make sure he knows not to tell the person on the other end of the line your in the bathroom. I have to say, I agree with Amy, the fact he calls your Marcie is hysterical!!!

Be warned! Dialing 911 will soon follow. I can't wait for the post when you answer the door in your robe and it's the police stoping by to make sure everything is ok. It will happen!

That is the cutest story I have heard in a long time. To bad it wasn't one of those sales phone calls that could've been pretty funny! Good luck with Brighton's new found independence.
