Switching Gears

I had my 20 week appointment at the Hospital last Thursday and the baby is a Girl. I am very excited but I'm having a hard time switching gears at the same time. It was always so fun to look at girls stuff or buy it for other people but the fact that I would need to purchase it for my own child just doesn't seem quite real yet. I did decide to made the bedding. I did this when I had Brighton and swore I would NEVER do it again. Thanks to a very talented older sister and mother it just might be finished by the time she gets here. Below is a picture of the fabric I plan on using. I wanted something very feminine but not big, pink flowers all over. This my surprise some of you who know how fond I am of the color Pink. I really like what I found and I hope it turns out how I have envisioned it in my head.

I will try to post the progress of the bedding as I go along but I may give up and end up buying something else online.

Father/Son Campout

                               {Landon observing from a safe distance}

Most of you who now Sean know he is a big outdoors man.  Brighton has definitely inherited this love from his Dad.  They slept in our tent on Thursday and Friday night.  Brighton loved it.  He was so excited watching Sean put the tent up.  Landon had different feelings about it.  He didn't even want to go inside.  He stood right outside the door and watched but yelled "NO"  every time we asked him if he wanted to come in.  Thanks Sean for being such a fun Dad and sleeping on a crappy air mattress for two nights in a row just to make a little boy happy.

It's a .......

GIRL
or at least it looks that way so far. Yes we are expecting another baby. I am 17 weeks and the due date is November 12th. We are so excited. Of coarse we are REALLY hopeing Sean finds a new job before November. We have another ultrasound on the 26th of this month, and I am not buying anything PINK until after that, just to be one the safe side! This pregnancy has been very different from the other two. I've enjoyed not throwing up 3-5 times a day but I have been VERY tired. I can't complain though really I just feel very lucky to be able to have fairly easy pregnancies with little to no complications. We can't wait to have a new little baby again, and Brighton can't stop talking about it. In fact I can't believe he didn't spill the beans. It has been really fun to have my boys so close together and see what good little friends they are, and I hope my kids will enjoy being close in age and be good friends.
