I had my 20 week appointment at the Hospital last Thursday and the baby is a Girl. I am very excited but I'm having a hard time switching gears at the same time. It was always so fun to look at girls stuff or buy it for other people but the fact that I would need to purchase it for my own child just doesn't seem quite real yet. I did decide to made the bedding. I did this when I had Brighton and swore I would NEVER do it again. Thanks to a very talented older sister and mother it just might be finished by the time she gets here. Below is a picture of the fabric I plan on using. I wanted something very feminine but not big, pink flowers all over. This my surprise some of you who know how fond I am of the color Pink. I really like what I found and I hope it turns out how I have envisioned it in my head.

I will try to post the progress of the bedding as I go along but I may give up and end up buying something else online.

So excited for you, I love my boys, but having Michelle was so fun to buy her things. And you do have a talented sister who loves to sew for her girl~~~I think your set. Congrats
Great pick for the bedding. Girls are wonderful!
I am so excited that you are having a girl! That is so awesome! I am afraid to have another one, because I know it's going to be a boy! I don't think I can handle another boy :) You however have given me hope! I love the material! So cute!

I love your material choices. I bet it will turn out great. I'm trying to sew some blankets for my girls' beds right now and if I can do it, you can! Good luck with your sewing.

I think you did a fine job picking out those fabrics. Sorry I wasn't any help, I'm not visually inclined.
