Okay, I'm not really sure what happened to the month of February, but I'm glad it went fast. I don't really like the month of February....I know, I know it's the month of love blah blah blah, but I always get bored and anxious for spring to come. So to make it go by fast we did do some fun things together as a family.

#1 We had a great Valentines day. Sean and I were able to go to dinner, just the two of us!

#2 We went to Cabela's on Presidents day. Sean said we were getting even because I got to pick the restaurant on Valentines. I guess nothing says I LOVE YOU more to Sean then walking around looking at DEAD STUFFED ANIMALS! The boys do like to go there. Their favorite part is the fish. Landon pointed to all the deer hanging on the wall and said "horsey."

#3 Sean and I went to the JAZZ game. I haven't been to a game in years! Now I remember why. Actually it was okay, I just really don't like sports. Sean enjoyed it though.

#4We took Sean's car in to get the oil changed where we learned that antifreeze was leaking into our oil and could eventually ruin our engine. $700 dollars later it works great again.

#5 We went to DisneyLand. It was great weather, about 70 degrees both days. We had alot of fun. Brighton was really into the characters this year. We spend a good portion of the second day walking around looking for Elasta-Girl. She is his current favorite. Landon was a little scared of some of the characters, but enjoyed walking around on the Monkey leash, and felling like a big kid. Our Favorite part was the Pixar parade. Before it started Brighton ran out into the middle of the parade route and did some dancing for all the spectators. He is defiantly not afraid of large crowds.

#6 I went to Las Vegas to see my sister Jen and her husband Joe who live there. I came home for one day in between trips so I could catch up on laundry. We had planned on flying but all the flights were over sold due to Nascar being there last weekend. And as if Vegas doesn't already have an interesting crowd, let me tell you it's even more strange when Nascar is in town. Sense I didn't want to spend all day in the airport with little kids, I decided to drive 7 hours in a car instead. I did convince my little sister Megan to come and she did most of the driving. Thank goodness for DVD players and snacks! Jen took us to do some really cool stuff. We went to a place called Shark Reef inside Mandalay Bay. We saw all kids of Fish and sharks, and even got to touch a Sting-ray. We also went to a recreation of an old mining town. They do a mock shoot out, have train rides, and have a petting zoo. It's always fun to go out there and we don't get to do it often enough.
