In the past I have been accused by some, okay really only by my husband as being to soft or girly with my boys. My reply is always that I want them to be sensitive. Most of you who know my kids know they have plenty of BOY in them. They wrestle, kick, slam, climb, push, scream ect. so I will admit that sometimes I my try to sway them to use there
softer side. Lately a few things that have happened have cause me to wonder. The other day at the park, Brighton didn't want to throw wood chips with the other children because it was TO MESSY. Then he didn't want to cross the bridge because it was TO SPOOKY. Okay so maybe I am to blame for my 3 year old being alittle on the tidy and cautious side. But then the other day I was sitting at the table painting my fingers nails when Brighton plopped his little hands on the table and said "Brighty's turn next?" Well of coarse I painted them, it's totally harmless as far as I'm concerned. Besides I did one coat , no base coat or top coat, that would be CrAzY. I had no idea how proud he would be of them. He showed everyone he saw, even strangers at the grocery store. Below are a few pictures of his "MAN"ICURE, I love the look on his face.

Landon is starting to do some funny little things as well. He clean's his ear's with a Q-tip and brushes his teeth about 3 times a day. He carries Brighton's stool over to the sink and climbes up to get his tooth brush before I can even blink. He is sure reminding me how busy 15 month olds are. He also can open the garage door and let himself out side. He wants to be outside all day now that the weather is nice.

Other then that not much is happening in our family. We were sick for the last 2 weeks, thus the lack of posting. But we are finally
all better. Sean is still job hunting, and it is SLOW! We keep getting letters back that basically all say, we would hire you if we could but we just can't right now. Hopefully something will turn out soon. We are loving the nice weather and looking forward to more of it.

Love the manicure, so great! I hope Sean can find a job, that's crazy!
I paint my boys toe nails all the time. Kirby says I can do it in the winter cause they have to wear socks, but no in the flip flop months. Good thing I am getting a girl!
I would expect nothing less from you! Besides, boys have enough "boy" built in to begin with.
I hope the job hunting picks up! It's such a terrible economy right now. We'll be thinking of you...
Dude! Why don't you call us to go throw wood chips at the park?! ;)
I love his nails! Very cute! Mitch would murder me if I did that to Parker :) Mitch thinks I have made Parker a girl :) I can't help it I don't like them to get dirty either ;) Besides they with there mom's all day anyways, so really what do our husbands expect? We are girls!! :)
There is nothing girls about painting finger nails... it's an expression of who you are. And Brighton understands that at such a young age:)
I LOVE that picture of Landon cleaning his ears out... he is just so big!
There is nothing wrong with painting your boys nails.... My daughters paint my Husbands nails and he will forget they are painted and will go to work with PURPLE and PINK nails for a week! Good thing no one really takes Derick too seriously anyway! although I bet Sean LOVED it!
you are such a cute mom & what else are you suppose to do when you don't have a little girl!! :)
p.s. i hope sean finds a job soon.
Your boys are cute no matter what. Seriously I can't believe how much older Brighton is but still looks like himself. Love it. I'll keep my ears posted for Wells Fargo jobs in Utah I know they are few and far between but you never know. Good luck.
