Two funerals in one week

I think the title pretty much sum's up how our week is going. We had two friends pass away last week. One of Seans childhood friends passed away after a 9 month battle with cancer. He was only 32. I know he had finished his work in this life, but it is still so had to believe. And our former neighbor and dear friend passed away after a 19 year struggle with Parkinson's disease. He was 79 and he and his wife Trudi lived a few houses up for us in Syracuse. They were obviously several years older than us, but we have a wonderful friendship with them. They have 9 kids, 40 grandkids, and 40 great grand kids. They are a wonderful example to us. We have both commented that if we end up being half as good as they are we would be satisfied. Sense both set's of my Grandparents have passed away I consider them my adopted Grandparents. Trudi and I seemed to connect instantly. We loved Ocsar and will miss him but we are better people for having known him. Our Heart's go out to both there families.

Marcie, who was the 32 year old? Did Trav and Sean go to HS with him? That is so sad, I can't even imagine..

My gosh Marcie your last two post both made me tear up... I can't imagine losing your spouse whether it's at 32 or later in life... We need to get together. We might just have to go without Meg since it seems she is too popular for us.. give me a call!! XO
