I recently ran across the blog of a sweet girl who grew up by me. In her blog she talked about the struggles she and her husband were having while trying to adopt a baby. I remember running in to her at a Elementary School program for my nephew after I had just had Brighton. She said they were looking into adoption. That was almost three years ago. Well they are finally getting a Baby Girl! I can not even begin to imagine what they have been through these last few years. And I have so much respect for the girl who is giving up her baby, so they can start there little Family. I think it is easy for me to forget how truly blessed I was to be able to get my two little guys here without to much trouble. I'm thankful everyday to be a Mother and for my two Busy but Beautiful little boys.

Thanks for the reminder! I forget how blessed I am as well. I have 2 boys that I brought into this world. (not easily I might add) But I did get to bring them here, and even though I want to pull my hair out some days, I will remember I am truly blessed.
That's awesome. I have always been pro-adoption, but after seeing it first hand, I know that it is truly inspired by God and there are so many blessings that surround everyone involved. I have no doubt that this little girl has waited a long time to be placed with the parents she is destined to be with.
Congrats to your friend, that's exciting news. I'm sure your little boys are thankful that you are their mother as much as you are to have them!
We all need those kind of reminders. I feel so blessed as well. Not only to have 3 children but to have 3 healthy children. Who could ask for anything more.

amen. why it's so easy for some and hard for others is such a mystery to me. but tis life and i've come to realize we all have burdens to bear. the details differ...children, finacial, family, death, etc. but i think it all hurts the same. it's nice to know you've got support systems. family and friends!

First, Marc, your boys are so stinkin' cute. And I too, have so much respect for girls who give their babies to other families. I have several friends who have adopted, and they are some of the greatest people I know. I love this post!
