STAGES

My Favorite Stage

I love the 6 to 10 month stage. They are happy and content to sit and play with some toys but are not yet MOBILE. I love the never ending little smiles and cute little baby jabber. Landon is now eating baby food but smacks his lips when ever anyone around him has food or a cup! Every stage has it's good and bad points but I really think this is my fave. And might I stress again the not MOBILE point!

So Big all the Sudden

Brighton has always loved to swim, but this is the first year he is really doing it on his own. The first try was a little rough but after 2 or 3 times in the pool he has figured out how to balance with the life jacket on and kick. Last night he did not want me to hold on to him at all and did several laps around the pool all by himself.

A Little Side Note

Brighty is REALLY into princess right now. I think all my nephews went through this stage at this age. However Sean about had a heart attack the other night when Brighty wrapped a blanket around his waist, did a twirl and said " I belle". Sean kept saying over and over "no your the Beast!" Now he is worried our little man will grow up to be a cross-dressing freak. But I know it's just one of the many STAGES.

Really it is the fun stage, they get to interact, play and laugh at everything. Except speak for yourself on the not mobile thing...Wes started crawling at 7 months, and now at 8 months he is pulling himself up on everything. HELP!!! Good luck with the "fun stage" they are adorable!

So darling those little men princesses. Noah went through it, and John freaked out too.
I saw your parents on father's day at church. They look good and were as nice as ever. They really are great people.

Marcie, your boys are my favorite nephews. Landon is so smiley and Brighton makes me pee my pants. The princess thing is so normal- and honestly Garrett isn't completely over it yet.

I am glad to hear I am not the only one that has a little boy princess! Scott keeps saying "You are a prince!" and he says "No, I am a princess!" It cracks me up! Also, his favorite movie is Little Mermaid!

Definitely my favorite stage also. Now it is a chasing game for me and total attitude, I am exhausted by the end of the day! They only seem to get funnier though!
