Brighton a.k.a. MOMENT KILLER

We went to the park today for my sweet little nieces 4th Birthday Party. During all the present opening, Brighty got bored and decided to break free from my grasp and run off(this happens quiet frequently by the way)! Sean was at work so I handed Landon to my mom and took off after him, in heels no less. I noticed a cute young couple sitting at a picnic table in the distance. Brighton ran right to them and jumped up next to the girl and started talking to her(something about Trains I'm sure.) When he saw me coming he jumped down, started laughing and running circles around the table just out of my reach. I looked up at the couple to apologize and noticed the guy down on one knee holding a Small Black Box with a Ring in it in his hand!!! AHHHH... all I could say was "I'm so sorry, I'M SOOOO SORRY. They were both red in the face and said"that's ok". Mordified, I quickly grabbed Brighton and walked away as fast as I could. I wanted to turn back around and say "this is what you have to look forward to - don't do it!!" I guess that will make a great story to tell their friends and family. The little stinker is lucky he is so cute, because I have a felling the next few years are going to be filled with stories like this and so far our little Landon is showing a lot of the same personality traits. I can only pray that I don't have more naughty little BOYS.

My dad is covering there mouths so they don't blow out her candles. We do not need Cinderella is tears for Heaven's sake!

Molly and Landon, just sucking there hands like Babies do!

Hi Marcie-
I found your blog through Hollie's. It sounds like Brighton is a fun handful! Your boys are so cute. What a great story for the couple to tell later. :)

Just wanted to give a "shout out" to the mother of the moment killer on her birthday! I'm glad that you were able to get out and do some fun things with Sean. Sorry I was ornery and not available to do anything! I'm going to make it up to you later this week.... movie, dinner, ice cream, you name it!
I love you! Thanks for always taking care of me and letting me tag along with your family. I hope you had a great day.

Marcie~ That is the funniest thing ever! Gotta love these little guys.
Yes, my son was a lot harder to potty train. Don't give up. For Presley I went to All A Dollar and bought tons of little toys and every time she went Potty she got to pick one. That and kept lots of fluids in her.
I ran into Ashly Vansweden the other day. We need to all get together sometime.
